The Western Balkans Purchasing Initiative is organized by the Federal Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME) and the AHKs of the Western Balkans region on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK).

The core of this event is B2B matchmaking, where German buyers meet selected suppliers from the Western Balkan countries (Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo). 52 German buyers have registered for this event. At the end of the selection process, all buyers registered by the BME receive an overview of the potential suppliers and an individual selection that suits their company.
