Asociation “Loyola-Gymnasium”

Description

The supporting association “Loyola-Gymnasium” Association (ALG) was established as a legal entity in Pristina in December 2003 and was registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in 2004. On 8 February 2005, the organization was granted Public Benefit Status (PBS) by the Ministry of Public Services.

The aim of the association is to promote learning and education at the highest level and thereby support young people in Kosovo. This includes preparing Kosovar youth for European competition and their proper integration into the fields of education and science, as well as fostering an age-appropriate understanding of culture, science, and the arts.

ALG consists of three educational centers: Loyola Primary School in the city center, Loyola Secondary School – lower and upper secondary education in northern Prizren, and the Loyola Vocational Training Center (Loyola Profesionale).

By establishing a vocational center, in cooperation with companies and with the support of the Kosovo government, the association aims to make a meaningful contribution to providing young professionals in the country with a solid basic education and, above all, career prospects.
