Message from the Executive Director
Dear Members and Partners,
As we enter the third month of 2026, we are pleased to share that the year has already begun on a strong and dynamic note for KDWV.
In recent weeks, I have continued visiting our member companies to strengthen direct engagement and better understand your priorities and business needs. While I have had the opportunity to meet many of you, I look forward to connecting with the remaining members throughout the year.
KDWV has established the Economic Action Committee with HWK Stuttgart, creating a new platform for structured cooperation between Kosovo and Stuttgart, and recently hosted a Business After Hours networking event to further strengthen our community.
A key highlight was the German business delegation’s visit to Kosovo, focused on promoting ITP Prizren and enhancing bilateral business links. German companies met with Kosovar businesses, visited local enterprises, and explored concrete cooperation opportunities. Future delegations will place even stronger emphasis on direct engagement with our members. KDWV remains committed to representing your interests, fostering partnerships, and delivering tangible value.
Please also save the date for the German-Kosovar Economic Forum on 28-29 October, one of our key milestones this year.
Thank you for your continued trust and collaboration.

The German-Kosovar Economic Forum Returns on 28-29 October 2026
On 28–29 October 2026, the third edition of the German-Kosovar Economic Forum will take place, reaffirming its role as an established platform for economic dialogue between Kosovo and Germany. Held every two years, the Forum builds on the experience of the previous two editions, including the successes of 2024, and aims further to deepen bilateral cooperation in a rapidly changing economic landscape.
The Forum is not simply another institutional event on the calendar. It represents an ongoing process of building trust among businesses, institutions, and strategic partners. A concrete example of the results achieved through these efforts is MUNDA Kosovo, an initiative that has enabled direct German investment in Kosovo and remains a clear demonstration of the Forum’s value.
At a time when interest from German companies in the Kosovar market is growing, while local businesses seek more structured access to markets and supply chains, the need for a stable platform for dialogue is greater than ever. This forum delivers not only discussion but also tangible connections between stakeholders, turning economic challenges into real opportunities for cooperation.
What should participants expect?
This edition will focus on practical networking and business matchmaking opportunities, including a B2B platform and structured meetings. Participants will be able to identify potential partnerships, exchange good practices, and explore concrete cooperation across sectors. Beyond panel discussions, special attention will be given to spaces where companies and institutions can engage directly and take actionable steps toward joint projects.
The 2026 edition is not a new beginning but a continuation of a sustainable economic partnership. Each previous forum has added a new dimension to this cooperation and has demonstrated concrete results.
German Kosovar Business Association (KDWV-OEGJK) maintains the same approach: to strengthen the existing platform and develop it in line with the real needs of the business community.
